Description:

This workshop provides instructors with an introduction to analytics as they relate to student engagement with online learning environments including, but not limited to, Blackboard, Kaltura Media, and Google tools (i.e., UOIT.net).

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how analytics can be useful in their respective settings and contexts.
  • Redesign a hybrid or online lesson based on information obtained from analytics in order to enhance student success and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Access to the Internet.
  • We recommend you use a headset for the break out sessions.
