Universal Design for Learning (UDL) provides a framework for approaching the design and delivery of learning experiences in a manner that promotes accessibility and is inclusive of all learners.  This workshop will offer a basic introduction to UDL and its three main principles, and provide participants the opportunity to address specific ways in which they may apply these principles in their courses.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 

  • Describe the three main principles of UDL
  • Discuss why principles UDL would be applied when designing and delivering a course
  • Provide specific examples of how each of the three principles may be applied in a given course
